Skip Beat anime Seiyuu cast announced

A friend sent me this link which has revealed the main three's seiyuu, so I thought I'd share the news. All of the seiyuu for the anime are different from the drama cd cast. They are:

Mogami Kyouko - Satou Rina
Fuwa Shou(tarou) - Sakurai Takahiro
Tsuruga Ren - Koyasu Takehito

I'm, um, rather unimpressed by the casting, but well, I suppose we'll just have to see how the anime goes. Hopefully it lives up to most of our expectations!

*crosses fingers and hopes that the next news will be that Skip Beat will run for more than the usual 26 episodes*

D: I'm happy Sakurai's voicing someone, but gwah...I thought he'd suit Yashiro better...would be more amusing too. Why Shou? -___-; Ah, well...I wonder who's doing Yashiro anyway? D: Hopefully not Fukuyama... Koyasu would kinda fit the president of LME though...gwah...Ren... Hopes...slowly depleting... Why don't they ever keep the drama CD voice actors, I wonder? o.o

As much as love Sakurai, I don't think it's a good role for him--Nobutoshi Canna/Hayashi from the Drama CD was a much better casting choice. (The perfect casting choice, IMHO). I think Koyasu as Ren is fine, and at the very least preferable to Ken Narita. Any character designs yet? (Other than those mysterious line drawings in the anime announcement in Hana Yume?)

I was actually hoping that Koyasu would voice Ren. Haha. As for the other two seiyuu, no opinion yet, but looking forward to the anime nontheless. :D

Per now, I won't say anything, I'll give them the benefit of te doubt. But now I'm wondering, can Sakurai Takahiro sing?????

Luckily for me, I'm very behind in anime so I'm not familiar with Koyasu. I just youtubed him and honestly, I'm pretty ok with the guy. He can do the deep voice but with more versatility than I was expecting. I tend to hate when the main guy's voice is too low (I feel like it hinders their range of expression) but I liked drama CD Ren. For Sho, I can't say right now. Sakurai sounds ok, but he better be a good singer. And Kyoko better have major range.

I think it's too early to tell. I'm a huge Matsujun fan but before it aired I thought he was totally miscast in HYD and look how well that turned out... although I still think playing Rui would've suited him better.

I know next to nothing about those seiyuu because I've haven't been keeping up with anime... but my question is where in the world would they stop it and give it a decent conclusion if they cut off at 26 episodes? I can't think of a place...

I like the idea of Sakurai-san voicing Shou...instead of Miyano-chama...but it can't be helped now. D: False news is...false news. -sigh-
Er...if only 26 episodes...that's gonna end on the 13th volume...BUT!
That's only my speculations. -shrugs- :'o

That's not the real cast. Tamaki's voice form Ouran is voicing Shou.

That is really helpful. It provided me a number of ideas and I'll be placing them on my web site eventually. I'm bookmarking your blog and I'll be back. Thanks again!

For some reason, I can’t see all of this content, stuff keeps hiding? Are you taking advantage of java?
